Learn The Fly Fishing Basics and How to Fly Fish!

Are you using full sink or just sink tip? If so what type? Right now I have a rig with 3 sink and would like to not have to buy another setup to fish your style.
Hello and sorry for the delayed reply! Still trying to figure out the forum stuff on the site.
I use both full sink and sink tip depending on the situation. Full sink lines are ideal to get down deep whereas a sink tip line may sink still but not quite reach the depth you need.
Adding to that, a full sink line gives you more of a retrieve at the same consistent depth where a sink tip will be retrieving the fly upwards.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
